Information about The Fox and Menston Village
The Fox is a traditional village pub offering great food, friendly service, real ale and a great outside eating area for warm days and evenings. The Fox was originally called the Fox and Hounds and is the oldest public house in Menston, dating from about 1822 when the population of the village was just 257. The Fox was not always on its present site though. We think the pub was originally sited where the steps to St John's parish church are now.
Things to do in Menston and Wharfedale
Apart from ramblers and hikers enjoying the multitude of things to do in and around Wharfdale there's plenty going on locally. We get visitors from the Otley Folk Festival and Otley Carnival dropping in for a pint of real ale. We also see a lot of people on their way to Upper Wharfedale, the National Trust property at Fountains Abbey and the world famous Malham Tarn.

Monday to Saturday 11am to 11pm.
Sundays 11am to 10.30pm.
Food served all day
Monday to Saturday 12 noon to 10pm.
Sundays 12 noon to 9.30pm.
